Ever wonder why Google seems to index WordPress sites very fast? This is because every time you make a new post, WordPress send to search engines, notify them that there are changes on the site.
WordPress comes with a single ping service by default, but you can add more services by doing the following steps:

1. Login to your WordPress admin (ex. www.yoursite.com/wp-admin)
2. Go to Settings->Writing
3. Scroll down to “Update Services” section, you’ll see a text box
4. Just add more ping sites to the list then click “Save Changes”, and that’s it!
